At Wood Scapes, our approach to sustainability is to make quality playgrounds that can stand the test of time. Our material of choice is wood because of its natural beauty, strength and status as a renewable resource. We only use sustainable timber and paint certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, ensuring it contains less environmentally harmful substances. Wood require a minimum of maintenance and our playgrounds are intelligently designed for effortless on-site repairs by local craftsmen. We minimize our carbon footprint by manufacturing our playgrounds in our own workshop in Denmark, powered by energy generated from our solar cells.
